Meet “Fig Newton”! I am looking for an adopter! My name is Fig Newton, but my foster mama calls me Scrappy (I think she loves me a LOT). I have a huge heart and a huge purr. You just look at me and I start purring. If I’m not playing I’m snuggling with my foster mama – I prefer to lay on her chest at all times. I am a very pretty orange tabby boy … but my coat is so light that I look like I’m a cookie. I love to play, but I also like to be cuddled like a baby and look deeply into your eyes.
My mama, my siblings and I were rescued from a rough situation in Menifee. Luckily, we had a nice family that fed and kept us watered in the heat, but they couldn’t bring us inside. A neighborhood kid broke my mama’s tail in half with a baseball bat. For some reason, my mama is still super duper loving and sweet – so sweet that her rescuers named her Sugar Cookie (looking for an adopter).
Approx DOB is 05/1/2022 (approx). I am neutered and have had my first round of FVRCP vaccine. I’ve already been de-flea’d and de-wormed. My mama has also been spayed so she doesn’t have to do this again – she is also available for adoption, her name is Sugar Cookie.
I would be good in basically any sort of INDOOR ONLY home that can give me love – I’m fearless… so kids, dogs, cats with a little time, I will love them all. I’m one of the best of the best! My rescue mama says that I am in the top 20 of HUNDREDS of kittens. Located with a foster mama in San Diego, Ca. Adoption fee is $150 and covers about 1/2 of the current costs including my microchip.
