Meet “Navy”
My name is Navy. When I was on the list to be euthanized at Devore, my name was Sailor. My foster mama tells me I’m an awesome little kitten boy! I sleep all night long next to her purring. I am so thankful that she saved me. It’s been a rough couple of months, I was originally “saved” from Devore by a different rescue, but when they got me to San Diego, all the fosters changed their minds and didn’t want to help me. Myself, my sister and three other Devore kitties ended up stuck in dog crates in a hot garage for 6 weeks. The other rescue didn’t have a back up plan and so we were literally in little dog cages waiting for someone to foster or adopt us. The nice lady that transported us for the other rescue didn’t know what to do – but luckily she called Joanne’s Furry Friends and although there wasn’t really space, Joanne’s Furry Friends took us all in. I was SO excited to have a big human bed to finally lay on, and I immediately made myself right at home!! I love it! I love my foster mama! I love playing! I really am just a kitten still. I’m approximately 7-8 months old. I am neutered, litterbox trained, and I SNAP tested negative for FeLV/FIV. I would do best in a house with other kitties, respectful kids, and only quiet dogs. Because I am just 7-8 months old, sometimes I get a little nibbly with fingers – I’m learning that human hands are not toys and that I need to channel my energy to chasing feathers and playing with real toys.
**Navy’s adoption fee has been waived to good indoor-only homes. Located in San Diego, come meet Navy, please call or text 858-883-4222. Fill out an adoption application on our website.
