Meet “Nala aka Albie”
My new name is “Nala”. My foster mama knew I didn’t like the nam (Albie) that they gave me at Devore, I want to forget that place. It’s been a rough SEVEN months, and I’m ready for my chance at a furrever home. I was originally “saved” from Devore’s euthanasia list by a different rescue, but when that rescue got me to San Diego, all the fosters changed their minds and didn’t want to help me. Myself, my brother and three other Devore euthanasia listed kitties ended up stuck in dog crates in a hot garage for 6 weeks. Sometime, shortly before I made it to San Diego, I got pregnant…. I ended up having my litter of kittens in the transporter’s garage in a dog kennel. The other rescue didn’t have a back up plan and so we were literally in dog cages for six weeks waiting for someone to foster or adopt us. The nice lady that transported us for the other rescue didn’t know what to do – but luckily she called Joanne’s Furry Friends and although there wasn’t really space, Joanne’s Furry Friends took us all in. I was so glad when I got to my new foster home with Joanne’s Furry Friends! I love my new foster family and they take really good care of me. My kittens have been adopted and I really hope I get my turn soon. I MUST go to a home with another cat. I need another furry friend in my life. I love other cats. I can handle respectful kids, and eventually a quiet dog, with a very careful introduction.
**These pictures don’t show how really teeny tiny Nala is – she is barely bigger than a kitten! Nala is 1 year old, spayed, vaccinated, de-wormed, de-flea’d, and FIV/FeLV negative. Nala’s adoption fee has been waived to good indoor-only homes.
