Meet Shelley, a 6-month-old spayed female with a plush, thick coat in a rich deep gray accented by soft white markings. With her elegant Blue coat–and graceful presence, Shelley is striking at first glance—but it’s her gentle nature that truly wins hearts.

Her Story

Shelley shares the same difficult beginning as her brother. Although she was friendly and well-socialized by a caring neighborhood, she was rejected by the Humane Society at 6 months old and returned to the streets with a clipped ear, simply because she was considered “too old.” Thankfully, her story didn’t end there.

Now safely in foster care, Shelley is thriving indoors—exactly where she belongs.

Personality & Social Life

• Sweet, gentle, and quietly affectionate
• Great with other cats
• Calm and tolerant of her foster brother Binx, even when he’s feeling extra playful
• Adaptable and content in a peaceful, multi-cat home
