Seriously… he is so soft and absolutely breathtaking to look at. 😍
But he’s not just a pretty face — this boy LOVES to play! 🧸💨
He gets the zoomies ⚡ and makes the most adorable little squeaks and chirps 🐥 that will completely melt your heart.
Rico absolutely LOVES other cats 🐈🐈 and must go to an indoor-only home with at least one friendly, confident kitty to help him continue to blossom. 💕
Rico’s Story
This sweet boy didn’t have the easiest start. 💔
At just 3 months old, the Humane Society labeled him “too shy,” ear-tipped him, and told his finder to put him back outside. 😢
But she couldn’t do it. Not to this soft, gentle little boy. 🥺
So she kept him crated and kept searching until she found a rescue, Joanne’s Furry Friends, and we are so grateful she did. This little guy would have lead a horrible short life on the street with all the gorgeous white soft fur (just a target at night for coyotes and during the day for fleas) 🙏
When Rico first arrived, he was shy but incredibly curious.
On his very first night, he walked around the room begging the two foster kitties to come down and meet him.
And since then… he has learned EVERYTHING from them. 💕
Thanks in huge part to his foster sisters, FurrLecia and Horchata, Rico has made amazing progress in just a week and a half. 🌟
They purr… so now HE purrs — constantly.
Like… literally vibrating with purrs all the time. 😻💗
Rico’s Personality
✨ Neutered, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed and ready for adoption
✨ Obsessed with other cats (his love language!) 🐈💕
✨ Playful, silly, and zoomie-approved ⚡
✨ Makes the sweetest chirps and squeaks 🐥
✨ Has a HUGE, constant purr motor 💓
✨ Loves food 🍗 and chasing wand toys 🎣
He’s still a little shy and occasionally has what we lovingly call “hissing Tourette’s” 😅 — if startled, he might give one confused hiss… and then immediately realize everything is fine. FurrLecia and Horchata usually look at him like… “sir, please relax, she is the bringer of food and pets.” 😂. He has NEVER swiped or bitten, doesn’t struggle when picked up, and is a very gentle, loving boy.
With food, play, and a confident kitty friend, Rico will continue to blossom beautifully in his forever home. 🌸
He is truly just an absolutely gorgeous, special little boy who deserves the best life. 🧡
