Meet “Cole”

We are thrilled to introduce the one and only Mr. Magnificent, Cole! This super cool, outgoing, sweet, and incredibly handsome house panther is nothing short of amazing—and he’s ready for his forever home! At Joanne’s Furry Friends, we have many great cats and kittens, but once or twice a year, we are fortunate enough to rescue truly exceptional cats—and Cole is one of those soul-mate felines.

At around 2-3 years old, Cole is more like a wise-Labrador or even a human in a furry cat suit, in tune with humans and incredibly outgoing. He looks deep into your eyes, silently promising to care for you forever in exchange for snuggles, lap time, head scratches, and belly rubs. At night, he wants to lay on his human or next to them with one of his giant paws and their hand. He has a calm reassuring energy about him.

Cole is also extremely polite. During his first interaction with us, we had to give him a full bubble bath to clean his gorgeous coat, and he was a perfect gentleman throughout. He even rewarded us with deep purrs as we toweled him off, without a single hiss, scratch, bite, or effort to make it end—he just put up with the warm water and appreciated all the attention afterward.

Rescued from the streets of Chula Vista, Cole is a gentle giant. He’s exceptionally handsome, and now that he’s been recently neutered, his strong, muscular head and neck give him that classic square-jawed panther look. His medium-length coat will deepen into a stunning black once he’s had a few months of proper nutrition, as it’s currently sun-bleached from his time on the streets. He’s a charismatic gentleman wrapped in a graceful, powerful package with a gorgeous sweeping, graceful tail.

Did we mention he’s a master biscuit maker? Cole loves to snuggle under the blankets and knead his soft blankies—preferably right next to his favorite human.

Cole is neutered, vaccinated, flea-treated, de-wormed, and negative for both feline AIDS and leukemia. He’s also great with his litter box! Cole gets along well with other polite cats and would do wonderfully in a family setting – the more hands the better. He has been introduced briefly to dogs and didn’t seem to care about them one way or another. However, he MUST to go to an indoor-only home. Since he’s still adjusting from his previous life as a wandering Tomcat, it’s important his new family takes the time to discourage any lingering wanderlust. His new home should not have open windows or screen doors in the beginning, as he’s strong enough to push through screens if he forgets his new life is meant to be as an INDOOR ONLY house panther.

Located in San Diego, we would love for the purrfect home to take him on a trial adoption/foster situation (you will fall in love) 🏠. Contact us at 858-883-4222 to arrange a meeting 🐾❤️. For more details, visit JoannesFurryFriends.com.#joannesfurryfriends https://joannesfurryfriends.com
