Meet “Laila”
My name is “Laila”! I love looking in my human’s eyes and crawling into their laps. I have a tiny pink triangle under my lower lip that make me look like my tongue is always out a little – but it’s not – I’m just adorable. When you say my name I always respond with a purr CHIRP. If you touch me, I purr immediately. My foster mama says I am SOOOOO soft. My foster mama really wanted to foster-fail and keep me, but she can’t bottle feed other kittens if she keeps too many of her own. Great with dogs, kids, and other kitties – I’m fearless. I was born on 6/25/2022. I am spayed, microchipped, and have had my first round of FVRCP vaccine and ready to go to my FURREVER INDOOR ONLY home. Located in San Diego. Adoption fee is $150 and covers about 1/2 of the current costs including my microchip (which is $42 on its own).
My mama was a kitty on the mean streets of Oceanside – living under a freeway and surrounded by broken glass and pitbulls and desperate people. Mama wasn’t much older than a kitten herself when she got pregnant. A nice young man had been feeding her before and after work, but one day he thought she looked very round and asked for help from Joanne’s Furry Friends. They taught him how to trap my mama, and then he took her in forever and helped her get healthy enough to have me and my FIVE OTHER siblings.
