Meet “Lucky”
Meet Lucky! This pretty little house-panther, approximately 5 months old, is ready for an indoor-only forever home! She absolutely needs another kitty in her forever home – she still misses her mama and takes her cues from older kitties. She has a huge purr and and a lovely slow blink when she feels comfortable. Lucky hasn’t had the easiest start in life—at just 12 weeks old, she was rejected by the Humane Society as “too old to be socialized.” They advised her trapper to release her back at the Imperial Beach Home Depot. Thankfully, her trapper found her a foster, though it seems socializing her wasn’t a priority there. When the foster needed her gone immediately, we stepped in to help socialize her and find her a loving forever home.
Lucky has been with us for three weeks, and she’s turning into a doll that loves to crawl into your lap. Your kitty will be the way to her heart – she is looking for a mama figure (but a friendly, chonky boy kitty will work as well)! She sleeps in bed with her new foster every night, greets them at the bedroom door, and talks often. Each day, she grows braver and more outgoing. Once she settles into her new forever home, she’ll keep you entertained and gaining her love will be extremely rewarding.
To help her acclimate quickly, we recommend a home without children under 10 or energetic dogs. Her ideal home includes at least one other confident, loudly purring cat, as she still misses her mama, and purring reminds her of her family.
