Meet “Patrick Swayze”
My name is Patrick Swazye, because I am so handsome. I am one of the last “hoarder house” cats. I was one of the hoarder cats that was released from the house “accidentally” and I have had to live outside for a while until there was room for me with Joanne’s Furry Friends. I never want to be outside again – I just want to lay on the couch with my foster mama and get rubs and purr. If she stops petting me, because she is clicking-clacking away on her computer, I remind her by gently touching her elbow with my paw. Loud noises and strangers scare me, but I’ve learned how much I love food and love and hugs and pets. I’m approximately 5-7 years old. I am neutered, litterbox trained, and I SNAP tested negative for FeLV/FIV. I would do best in a house with other kitties, no little kids, and only quiet dogs.
My original owner passed away in May 2022, leaving me and my 15-30 kitty housemates without any options. Although my owner meant the best for me pets, he was in over his head even before his health deteriorated. I heard that Joanne’s Furry Friends saved me because their veterinarian’s office asked for their help.
