Meet “Pretty Girl”

Say hello to “Pretty Girl”—a stunningly beautiful, super-duper sweet gray and white long-haired 2 years old female indoor kitty, looking for a place to call home forever.

We don’t really know if Pretty Girl ever had a name for the first two years of her life, especially considering the extremely tough start she had (her hoarding situation was deemed cruelty and is currently a legal case – some hoarders do it for the right reasons, but the wrong way, this one is implied to just be animal cruelty). At OC Animal Care Shelter, out of 83 cats, she was named “Sabrina”. But honestly, she’s so beautiful and sweet, “Sabrina” just didn’t seem right for her.

Thanks to a joint effort with a partner rescue, we managed to get her out of the OC Animal Care Shelter. She was one of 83 cats and a dog rescued from a hoarding case that’s still tangled up in legal issues. We think it was some kind of backyard breeding gone wrong, especially seeing how all the cats, like Pretty Girl, are real lookers—lots of them with gorgeous long hair or that Bengal look.

Pretty Girl is a bit of a brave heart compared to her shy house mates. Give her a minute to check you out, and she’s all about belly rubs and chin scratches, acting all kitten-cute and sweet. And did we mention she’s… well… very, very pretty?

She’s cool with other cats (having lived with 82+!), and she’ll probably get along with a friendly, cat-wise dog and calm kids, but kids must be OVER 10 years old. We’re asking for a $125 adoption fee to make sure she gets to a loving, indoor-only home.  The adoption fee will help us cover the other housemates that are not as gorgeous, sweet, and outgoing – their abuse has perhaps scared them forever. But Pretty Girl is as forgiving as she is beautiful.

Pretty Girl is spayed, up to date with her FVRCP and rabies shots, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, has had a health checkup, and is microchipped. Plus, she’s been treated for fleas, dewormed, and yep, she’s litter box trained.

Her last litter of kittens didn’t make it, she was diagnosed with pyometra, probably from being bred too much and too young—a sad story that’s all too common.

We’re in San Diego, so don’t be shy—text or call us at 858-883-4222 to set up a time to meet her at her foster home. For more details, check out JoannesFurryFriends.com.
