Meet “Silver”
Meet Silver! This gorgeous kitten, approximately 5 months old, is ready for an indoor-only forever home! She has a stunning silver coat with an almost Bengal-like pattern. Silver hasn’t had the easiest start in life—at just 12 weeks old, she was rejected by the Humane Society as “too old to be socialized.” They advised her trapper to release her back at the Imperial Beach Home Depot. Thankfully, her trapper found her a foster, though it seems socializing her wasn’t a priority there. When the foster needed her gone immediately, we stepped in to help socialize her and find her a loving forever home.
Silver has been with us for two months, and she’s quite a character! She loves to play, has boundless energy, and a quirky opinion about everything. She’s very food-motivated—food is truly the way to her heart! She sleeps in bed on her new foster every night, greets them at the bedroom door, and trills loudly for more food. Each day, she grows braver and more outgoing. She has found her purr and loves chin scratches and snuggling. Once she settles into her new forever home, she’ll keep you endlessly entertained with her curiosity and playful spirit.
To help her acclimate quickly, we recommend a home without children under 10 or dogs. Her ideal home includes at least one other confident, loudly purring cat, as she still misses her mama, and purring reminds her of her family.
Silver has been spayed, vaccinated for Rabies and first FVRCP, treated for fleas and worms and parasites.
