Meet “Skye”

Skye is one of the most beautiful and incredibly sweet adult kitties we’ve ever had in our rescue. While she may not be a purebred Siamese, she undeniably resembles one! Some of us speculate that she might be a purebred backyard breeder kitty-mill cat who was abandoned for reasons unknown. She was discovered on an industrial lot in Orange County and initially trapped by another rescue. Shockingly, because of the lack of readily available spay/neuter appointments in OC, she was returned to the lot UN-SPAYED! We received a distress call and although we doubted the trapper’s ability to catch her again very quickly, Skye immediately came to the trapper and leaped onto her lap no trap needed!  She wants to be in your lap so badly that these pictures just don’t do her justice – we can’t get her far enough away from the camera to take a great picture of just how gorgeous she is!

We’ve taken care of her by spaying, vaccinating, treating her for worms and fleas, and providing a microchip. Skye is expected to get along well with other cats and well-behaved children. While we believe she’ll be comfortable with calm dogs, we haven’t tested this yet, so a proper introduction would be necessary. Skye is truly a unique adult rescue, estimated to be between 1.5 to 2 years old based on a dental examination.
