Meet “Wednesday”

Our sweet little Wednesday Addams is can’t wait to find her furrever home💞. She was rescued from a ranch in Riverside where the rancher looks at cats as pest control and likes to have a steady supply of mousers – the more the coyotes the more the cats they need to get the rats. Our little, purr-machine Wednesday is very lucky to have been trapped and smuggled out by a good samaritan. We think Wednesday’s litter mates most likely ended up as coyote snacks. 😢. However, this adorable snack was saved and will never again have to face the fear of becoming coyote food.
Wednesday is between 10 weeks old and possibly a medium haired kitten with a white star on her chest. When she first came into the rescue, we noticed a marble sized lump, it turns out she had what appeared to be an infection due to a bot fly larvae that was living in her neck. So, at just under 8 weeks old she had her first minor surgery and the wound was cleaned out and stitched up. Now 3 weeks later she’s all healed up.
She has become a loving, needy, purr machine (her more shy gray & white, adopted “sister”, Enid, has been adopted). Wednesday is GREAT with calm kids and kitties (most likely could learn to be good with cat-wise dogs with the correct slow introduction). Spayed, de-wormed, de-flea’d, initial FVRCP vaccine and micro-chipped. Located in San Diego. Indoor only home. Adoption fee is $100. Text us at 858-883-4222 to set up a time to meet this wonderful, lucky, kitten!
