✨ About Jett
Jett is a sleek, shiny black kitten with a big personality and an even bigger purr. He and his siblings — Binx, Joan, and Raven — were rescued from Oceanside after growing up outside with their gentle mama. From shy beginnings, Jett has blossomed into a confident, affectionate kitten who loves to play, snuggle, and explore.
When we first tried to get these kittens into a shelter, the Humane Society told us they were “too old” for their program and wanted them released back onto the streets — on Halloween night, no less. We just couldn’t do that. These kittens had been handled since they were tiny, but after six weeks without rescue placement, we drove an hour each way over the course of a week to trap them and get their mama spayed. All of their medical care — about $1,000 — has come out of pocket, so donations are deeply appreciated (links below).
His sisters, Joan and Raven, were adopted together, and his brother Binx was fostered in a different home — where he’s now staying on as that foster’s first personal cat to help new kittens learn the ropes. Jett’s foster family says he’s been a joy from day one — outgoing, social, and happy to hang out with other cats, a friendly dog, and respectful kids.
