Who remembers the abandoned apartment family from Logan Heights? 💔🏚️
The tiny kittens left without food or water for over a week… surviving only because of one unbelievably devoted little mama cat.
This is her. Meet Aperol. 🍹🧡
Aperol is an extremely friendly, incredibly sweet, rare orange female tabby — and honestly one of the most deserving cats we have ever rescued. ✨
For 7–10 days, this little mama somehow kept FOUR hungry kittens alive after being abandoned inside an apartment. No food. No fresh water. No help. Every ounce of her body and every bit of strength she had went into protecting and feeding her babies. 💔🐾
Even now, she is still skinny because she gave everything she had to those kittens.
And she never stopped being loving through any of it. ❤️
The moment we rescued the family, Aperol climbed right up my leg trying to get to food because she was so desperately hungry. I will never forget it. 😞
Despite everything she went through, Aperol is affectionate, social, gentle, and absolutely adores people. She wants love so badly. Honestly, it is impossible to understand how anyone could have abandoned her. 🥺
Her handsome boys 🥐 Cannoli, 🍋 Limoncello, and 🍊 Gelato have all been adopted 🎉
She still has her tiny daughter 🍰 Tiramisu with her, and while we would LOVE for them to be adopted together, we suspect little Tiramisu will probably get scooped up quickly because… kitten. 🥹

Who can step up for Aperol — the mama cat who kept them all alive when no one else was there? Who can give this sweet, gorgeous, rare little orange mama the forever home she has earned a hundred times over? 🏡🧡

🐱 Extremely friendly, good with polite children. Most likely good with other kitties and dogs, but we haven’t tested it very much, she was busy gaining weight and raising her babies.
