🐾 Meet Demetrios — A Gorgeous Flame Point Boy 🧡

Demetrios is a handsome medium-length flame point boy with soft cream-colored fur and warm apricot markings. He’s almost four years old and ready for a forever home where he can settle in and be someone’s companion again. ✨

📖 Demetrios’s Story

Three and a half years ago, Demetrios was adopted from another rescue along with his sister Gamma. For more than three years, they believed they had found their forever home, but unfortunately their adopter did not uphold his end of the commitment.

Right now we are seeing an overwhelming number of cats being surrendered or rehomed. It’s heartbreaking how often it’s happening, and the economy is definitely contributing to this growing problem.

Because the original rescue that adopted them out no longer exists in San Diego, we agreed to take Demetrios and Gamma in to keep them out of the Humane Society. 💔

They’ve been with us less than a week, so they are still adjusting. Demetrios is the more confident of the two, and he’s already settling in while helping his sister feel a little safer. 🐱

✨ Gorgeous medium-length flame point coat
✨ Neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (FVRCP), and SNAP-tested negative as a kitten
✨ Loves other kitties, but will need a little time to warm up in a new home
✨ Enjoys being brushed — his adopter will need to enjoy regular brushing too

Demetrios is curious, affectionate, and people-oriented once he feels comfortable. He’s the type of cat who will gradually make himself at home and become a loyal companion. 💛
