Meet Hera — The Stunning Lap Cat Who Just Wants a Calm Place to Belong 💙🐱

Hera is one of the most beautiful and incredibly sweet adult kitties we’ve ever welcomed into our rescue. While she may not be a purebred Siamese, she certainly looks like one — and turns heads everywhere she goes 😻. Some of us suspect she may have come from a backyard breeder or kitty mill and was abandoned for reasons we’ll never know.

What we do know?
Hera absolutely adores people.

Her Rescue Story 🕊️

Hera was discovered living on an industrial lot in Orange County 🏭 and was initially trapped by another rescue. Shockingly, due to the lack of available spay/neuter appointments in the area, she was returned to the lot un-spayed 😔.

We received a distress call and immediately stepped in. Although there were concerns she wouldn’t be easily caught again, Hera made things very clear:

No trap was needed.
No fear.
No hesitation.

She walked right up to the trapper… and leapt straight into her lap 🥹💕

Hera wants to be held so badly that taking photos of her is nearly impossible — she won’t stay far enough away from the camera! These pictures truly don’t do justice to just how gorgeous (and affectionate) she really is.

Hera’s Personality 😻

Hera is a true lap cat and a rare gem of an adult rescue.

• 💕 Extremely affectionate and people-focused
• 🛋️ Loves being held and cuddled
• ✨ Gentle, loving, and emotionally connected
• 🐱 Used to living with many cats
• 🐶 Has experience with both big and small dogs (with proper introductions)

Hera is estimated to be 2.5 years old, based on a dental exam 🦷.

Hera’s Ideal Home 💫

While Hera has lived in a home with many animals, we’ve learned that the constant activity can sometimes be stressful for her. Because of this, we will be giving priority to a quieter home with fewer pets, where she can truly relax and feel secure 🏡✨.

• A calm household with limited animal traffic
• Fewer pets preferred (though she can coexist with cats and dogs given proper introductions)
• Big dogs, small dogs, and other cats are familiar to her — but less is more
• A home without small children would likely be the best fit

Hera doesn’t need chaos to be happy — she needs peace, consistency, and a human who is hers 💙.
