Meet “Lucy”

Gorgeous Siamese Lucy Needs a Forever Home—Urgently!

Lucy has been left alone at home, with only daily visits, since her owner entered hospice care over a month ago. Her world has been turned upside down. Now, her beloved owner is no longer able to care for her, and her owner’s daughter has made the heartbreaking decision to rehome Lucy for her safety. Unfortunately, the daughter cannot keep Lucy herself, as she owns a very aggressive senior cat who violently attacks Lucy, making it impossible for her to stay.

Lucy is a sweet and affectionate 17-year-old Siamese who deserves a peaceful, loving home. She enjoys quiet companionship, sunny spots, and the company of other respectful cats. She is spayed, litter-trained, and has impeccable manners—ready to bring warmth and love into a caring home. The ideal home for Lucy would be without small children or dogs, as she is scared of both. Remember the rule of 3-3-3 though and expect her to take some time after 17 years in one home to adapt to a new home.

Her owner meticulously kept all of her vet records, and her owner’s daughter is happy to arrange/pay for an updated exam for an interested adopter. Lucy’s last exam (a year ago) showed she was in excellent health. She has gained some weight in the last few months due to stress and grief (wouldn’t we all?), but otherwise, she is in great condition for her age.

🏡 Will you open your heart to Lucy? She is currently in the SF Bay Area (Oakland), but her owner’s daughter is willing to travel anywhere on the West Coast to find her the perfect forever home. Her adoption fee is waived for the right indoor-only home.
