Massaman is an absolutely adorable 9-week-old orange tabby with a playful spirit, a growing sense of confidence, and a serious love of food. This handsome little guy is looking for an indoor-only forever home—ideally with his sister, Panang!
Massaman is part of our “Curry Litter,” rescued from one of the most dangerous places we’ve ever trapped cats.
His beautiful mama, who looks like a mix of Abyssinian and Bengal, did everything she could to keep her babies alive on the 28th Street on-ramp to Interstate 5 South. The family had made a home between a busy freeway on-ramp and a trucking yard, often hiding inside truck engines to stay safe.
By the time we received the call, one kitten had already disappeared. A coyote had been spotted nearby, and with speeding traffic, heavy trucks, and predators all around, there was simply no way this family could be safely returned through Trap-Neuter-Return.
So we brought them to safety. ❤️
Massaman is still a little shy, but every day he gets braver. The quickest way to his heart? Food! He’s incredibly food-motivated and loves chasing toys, wrestling with his siblings, and discovering that people bring all the good things in life.
