Meet Abigail – Our Sweet Tabico Lovebug
Abigail is a stunning 5-year-old spayed female tabico—a rare and beautiful blend of tabby striping and calico patches. Her coat is eye-catching, unique, and every bit as special as she is.
And once she feels safe? She’s an absolute purr machine.
Her Story
Abigail came to us from an extreme hoarding situation after her owner passed away. Though her owner cared deeply, the home was overwhelmed with cats both inside and out. We’ve helped rescue and adopt many kittens from this situation, and Abigail is the first adult cat from inside the home to find her way to us.
Because she grew up surrounded by other cats, feline companionship has always been her comfort zone. In her foster home, Abigail has made incredible progress—she watches her foster siblings closely, purrs when they purr, exchanges gentle licks, and now happily curls up on her foster’s chest. She’s finally learning what calm, consistency, and affection feel like.

Abigail will do best in a calm, predictable home where she can continue to blossom at her own pace.

• At least one friendly resident cat (this is very important for her confidence)
• No active dogs
• Likely not a match for homes with young or very active children
