Meet Cairo – The Loyal Boy Whose Future Depends on Finding a Home

Cairo is a 2.5-year-old neutered tabby with a sweet, loyal heart. His owner has loved him since rescuing him as a tiny kitten from a cardboard box, but now she’s in an impossible situation. She’s on disability and rents a single room in a home where the landlord’s cat does not get along with Cairo. She has been told she must rehome him or he will be put outside.

This is not abandonment — Cairo’s owner loves him dearly. But she has no other option, and the clock is ticking. She’s desperate to make sure he ends up safe, not on the streets.

Cairo is a wonderful companion who thrives on love and loyalty. He’ll likely be happiest as an only cat, but may do well with a gentle female kitty or a kitten he can bond with. What he needs most is a stable, indoor-only home where he will never again face uncertainty.
