Named after the fierce and loyal spirit from Baldur’s Gate, this gorgeous medium-haired girl (the last picture is to show her gorgeous proud fluffy tail) is every bit as powerful in love as her namesake is in battle ❤️🔥
Do you remember her story? Mama Karlach came to us as a devoted young mother who raised her kittens beautifully — patient, attentive, and endlessly nurturing 🐾✨ Her babies have all been adopted into loving homes 💕
After that, she went through a rough medical stretch — a spay recovery complicated by a severe allergic reaction, followed by a painful week of mastitis 😞💔 She also has the sweetest secret fetish – she clearly was taken from her mama too young – wait until you hear what it is! She is such a sweet baby girl, who didn’t want to be a teen mama!
People often say “wait until kittens are weaned,” but the truth is street mama cats are biologically set up for back-to-back pregnancies while still nursing. One litter after another, no rest, no recovery 🥀 That’s why spaying, adoption, and breaking that cycle is everything.
And when those babies are suddenly gone — whether through adoption, illness, or tragedy — the mastitis and hormonal crash can be brutal. We can’t imagine what that must feel like on the streets 💔
But for Mama Karlach, this was her LAST litter. She is safe now. No more survival pregnancies. No more endless cycles. Just healing 🐾🌿
Originally, her finders wanted her back because she was so incredibly sweet with their young son… but they eventually stopped responding. So now she’s officially ours to rehome — and she finally gets her turn to be the kitten she never got to be ✨
Because underneath it all, Mama Karlach is a soft-hearted, deeply empathetic soul 💕
Her foster is a trauma department nurse, and after a hard shift losing a patient, Mama K quietly climbed into her lap, gently placed a paw on her cheek, tucked her head under her chin, and just… stayed 🥹🐾 comforting her in silence
