Do you remember the abandoned little family from four weeks ago? Left alone in an apartment for at least a week? 💔🏚️
Well… for everyone who was obsessed with beautiful little 🥐 Cannoli 🥐 when we first posted him — your chance is here again. 👀❤️
We had a TON of interest in this gorgeous flame point–looking boy right away, but we committed to an adopter connected to one of our former adopters. Unfortunately, due to a long-term family emergency, she had to back out at the last minute on Mother’s Day. 😞💔
So now Cannoli is unexpectedly available again… and he needs an adopter right meow! 🐾✨
Cannoli is absolutely stunning with his soft cream coat, flame-point coloring, and dreamy little face. ☁️🔥 But his personality is just as special.
He is SUPER soft 🥹 and loves having his ears and little nose rubbed. 👃❤️ He is quiet, contemplative, and sensitive — the kind of kitten that watches everything carefully before deciding you are his person. And once he wuvs you? Ohhhh… he is a snuggler. 🤗🐾
He has such a gentle soul and calm presence. The perfect little companion kitten for someone wanting affection without total chaos. ✨
Five weeks ago, this family’s story became our most watched reel ever. A mama cat and her four tiny 3–4 week-old kittens were abandoned inside a Logan Heights apartment without food or water for over a week. Left behind with trash like their lives didn’t matter. 🗑️💔 The only water they had was the toilet. 🚽😞
Luckily, the Realtor refused to look the other way. 🙏 He contacted the Humane Society (who never came), and then his wife found us online. These cats were in SD Humane jurisdiction and could have been safely relinquished instead of abandoned to slowly starve.
I still can’t forget how desperately hungry mama Aperol was. 💔 The second I opened a can of food, she climbed right up my leg trying to get to it. Imagine what she had been through trying to keep her babies alive. 😞🐾
Now little Cannoli is safe, healthy, neutered, and officially ready for adoption! 🎉🏡

*And yes — Cannoli’s adoption fee is slightly higher (and we aren’t breaking even at that amount) than his siblings because flame point–looking kittens like him are incredibly in demand. That additional adoption fee helps offset the huge medical and rescue costs for cats like mama Aperol and other adult cats whose adoption fees rarely come close to covering their care. ❤️🐾
That is how rescue works sometimes — the highly sought-after kittens help us continue saving the cats nobody lines up for. And every single one matters. 🥹
