🐾 Meet Yoshi – The Street-Smart Velcro Boy with a Sweet Little Face 🖤✨
Yoshi is a one year old, neutered gentleman with the sweetest little “girly” face — we all thought he was a girl at first! — and warm green eyes 🌟 that tell the story of where he’s been and how ready he is for his forever home.
He showed up in a colony in Chula Vista where we had previously trapped and helped several kitties. Someone had already neutered him, but no owner ever came forward. He wasn’t chipped and wasn’t wearing a collar… and while he clearly once had some human connection, we just couldn’t put this affectionate boy back out on the streets. 💔
Now safe and loved, Yoshi is thriving — and he is pure devotion. 💕
🗣️ Yoshi talks… a lot. Chirps, trills, soft little conversations — if you’re nearby, he has something to say. He’s also a total velcro cat: if you’re sitting, he’s on you; if you’re working, he’ll gently rest one paw 🐾 on you just to stay connected. He follows you from room to room like a loyal little shadow 🐶 and never gets overstimulated — just steady, sweet companionship all day long. 💞
🎾 He still has that young, playful energy, but what he loves most is you. Yoshi does wonderfully with kids and is especially amazing with polite dogs 🐶💛 — he’s so comfortable with them that we suspect he may have ended up outside because dogs in his previous home had free access through a doggy door. Because of that, we will not place him in a home where dogs go in and out through doggy doors. His safety comes first.
💚 About His Name:
Yoshi means “good luck,” “righteous,” or “good fortune” in Japanese. It can be written with the kanji 良 (meaning “good”). And truly, this boy feels like good luck — the kind that shows up unexpectedly and changes your life for the better. 🍀
